Short Pole Syringe Short Jab Stick

Pole Syringes or 'Jab-Sticks' are ideal for use when a quick and safe means of injecting large and small animals is required in a confined space or close up where there aren't any restraint facilities available.

The Dart Systems Short Pole Syringe is a high quality, lightweight telescopic pole syringe designed for injecting farm and domestic animals and wildlife up to 1.5m distance away from the user, simply by a pushing motion against the target animal which drives the plunger forward and injects the medication or tranquillizer in the syringe.

As standard supplied with the NEW 2.5cc Syringes, the 2.5cc Syringes are ideal for use where a smaller or more precise dosage measurement is required.
The 2.5cc Syringes are intended as Single-Use syringes, as markings can fade after repeated sterilizations.

The Short Pole is made up of Two (2) 75cm sections that can be joined to form One (1) longer 1.5m pole if required.
One 75cm Pole section has an 8mm F threaded in one end to allow attachment of 8mm M threaded plunger for the 2.5cc and 5cc syringes and a 12mm F thread in the other end.
The second 75cm Pole section has a 12mm M thread in one end which is where it can be attached to the first pole section to extend the length from 75cm to 1.5m, the other end of the second pole section has a 12mm F thread where you can attach the 12mm M threaded plungers for the larger 10cc and 20cc syringes.
No adaptor is needed to attach any of the different syringe sizes to the Short Pole.

The Short Pole Syringe Kit is supplied as standard with the smaller 2.5cc Syringes that take Luer Lock needles, however they can be sold with the larger 5cc, 10cc and 20cc syringes if required. Once the needle is fitted to the syringe it can be inserted directly into the drug bottle to fill the syringe with the correct dosage.
