Model 196 Cartridge Fired Projectors are very rugged, easy to maintain and well suited for long distance targets and using from a helicopter. Good for Long range targets, designed for use with the Type C and Type U Pneudart RDD Darts.
The Model 196 is an extremely rugged projector that is functional and simple and will provide many years of service.
The power control is on the rear of the gas block for convenience.
Model 196EN comprises a uniform electroless nickel-plated finish mounted handsomely on a black composite stock.

The Model 196 has a 5 position Power Control on the end of the Gas Block underneath the Scope that allows the user to adjust the muzzle velocity easily.
